I was introduced to Edward Burtynsky at a gallery in Vermont, who’s name I can’t remember. It was in Burlington and was an outdoor, farm kind of place if that helps. The place isn’t so big, I’m sure you can find it.Anyway, the show was a blend of Ansel Adams and Edward Burtynsky. It was amazing to go from Adams serene portraits of pure nature to Burtynsky’s giant photos of human interference in the environment. He capture the beauty and the tragedy of it so well.
